Subcategories of Indian e-Tourist Visa
Some travelers might have plans to visit India again and again, for such travelers, based in the requirement of their visit, it is further categorized as follows:
30 days e-Tourist Visa: This 30 days e-Tourist Visa grants permission with a validity period of 30 days, and two-entries. The visa expires one-day before the validity date, i.e. on the 29-day.
1-year e-Tourist Visa: This 1-year e-Tourist Visa grants permission with a validity period of one-year with unlimited-entries, and during each visit 6-months stay allowed.
5-year e-Tourist Visa: This 5-year e-Tourist Visa grants permission with a validity period of five-years with unlimited-entries, and during each visit 6-months stay allowed.

Indian E-Medica Visa for Zimbabwean citizens

Indian E-Medical Attendant Visa for Zimbabwean citizens
The Zimbabwean citizens who need to visit India for escorting the patients with e-Medical visa who are getting medical treatment in India, are permitted to apply for the e-Medical Attendant visa. The applicant should know that only two persons can apply for each e-Medical visa and that he should be an immediate family member of the patient.
This e-Medical Attendant visa grants permission with a validity period of 2-months with three-entries.
Indian E-Conference visa for Zimbabwean citizens
Zimbabwean citizens who have to visit India to attend an international conference as a guest, are granted to apply for the Indian e-Conference visa. To apply for this visa, the applicant should be able to provide certain documents like an invitation letter from the organization in India in a letterhead, inviting you to attend the conference with your name mentioned on it. You are also required to provide your business card of the organization you are working in Zimbabwe, a clearance letter from the ministry of home affairs and external affairs, etc.
This e-Conference visa grants permission with a validity period of 30-days with single-entry.

Zimbabwean citizens who have plans to visit India and are worried what the Indian eVisa application form looks like, here are the details:
Step 1: Visit the Indian eVisa site, click on the application form, choose the type of visa required and start filling the details.
Step 2: The applicants are required to provide the personal information such as your name, nationality, mobile number, email address, date of birth, and permanent residence address.
Step 3: Provide passport details like passport number, passport issuing and expiry date and issuing country.
Step 4: Additional questions like gender, religion, identification mark, qualification, profession, etc are required to be answer.
Step 5: Secret information like any crimes convicted in the past, legal issues, health issues, etc needs to be answered honestly.
Step 6: Upload the scanned documents and additional documents if required. Most of the time the documents are requested via email as well.
Step 7: Review the details of the form, if everything is accurately filled, click on the payment option to pay the Indian eVisa fees using your debit/credit card.

Citizens of Zimbabwean who are waiting for the status of the Indian eVisa, must know that the time-taken for processing the application is 3-4 working days, and the processing time varies from one application to another. If you want to receive your eVisa on-time, it is better that you apply at least 7-days in advance.
Sometimes there might be delays and rejections in processing the Indian eVisa form, why?
The Indian eVisa application form sometimes may be delayed or rejected due to reasons like incomplete details, not following the instructions to upload documents, inaccurate information, the documents provided are not genuine, etc. The applicants are therefore requested to carefully fill the form and then submit.
What if, in case, I need to travel to India on an emergency basis? What am I supposed to do?
There is no surety that you will be able to get the emergency visa, but still in emergency situations foreign travelers should immediately visit the Indian Embassy, they might be able to guide you.
The time-taken to process the emergency visa is 24 hours, which takes less-time to process compared to other eVisas like eTourist visa, eMedical visa, eBusiness visa, and eMedical Attendant visa.
Travelers applying for emergency India visas cannot use the eVisa for yoga retreat, visiting the sightseeing places of India, or attending any complicated relationship issues.
Travelers should know that they can apply for an emergency visa for reasons related to sudden death of a family member, serious illness of a family member, or legal procedures and need to attend the court.
Those who have an emergency crisis can apply for the emergency Indian visa, which is even processed on weekends. But there are exceptions like during National holidays i.e. on Republic Day and Independence Day, the immigration officials have their official holidays, so offices are closed.
Also, the applicant has to pay for the urgent processing, which might be more than the normal amount paid on other Indian eVisas. The general standard time-take to process is 24 hours and sometimes due to extra verification it may take up to 72 hours.
