Indian eMedical Visa

Indian eBusiness Visa

This eVisa is for one-year and permits double-entries and within this duration offered, business travelers can stay for 6-months, which they can use all at once or split their stay into two parts.

Those who are filling the Indian eVisa for the first time, you do not have to worry as the application form contains only basic information, here check out the details:
Step 1: Visit the Indian eVisa site, click on the apply for Indian eVisa button, you will land in the Application form page, here you are required to fill in some basic information.
Step 2: Complete the form by filling details like your full name, surname, nationality, email address, mobile number, residence address, identification mark if any, and date of birth.
Step 3: Fill in the passport number, the passport issuing country, passport date of issue and expiry date.
Step 4: Answer additional questions related to your marital status, religion, gender, educational qualification, and profession.
Step 5: Answer mandatory questions like any health issues, have you ever committed any crime, any legal issues, imprisonment, deported from any country, etc.
Step 6: Upload documents like your scanned passport of the biography page and your recent passport photo, following the uploading instructions mentioned.
Step 7: Before submitting the application form, check the details again, after that click on the payment option to pay the fees, use your debit/credit card to make the payment.
Step 8: After the Indian eVisa fee payment has been made, you will receive an email instantly, confirming that your application has been submitted successfully.

Processing Time for Indian eVisa Applications: How long do I have to wait to receive the final status?
Tanzanian citizens must know that the Indian eVisa application you have submitted will be verified by the immigration officials, which takes around 3-4 working days to receive the final status. Whether your application is rejected (you will be notified by email, mentioning the reason of rejection) or approved (you will receive the approved eVisa by email) you will be notified.
Note: Tanzanian citizens must know that they can apply for the Indian eVisa two-times in a year.
Obligatory Documents that Tanzanian citizens must carry with them to furnish on-arrival in India
Tanzanian citizens who are ready to visit India, as they have received the approved Indian eVisa, must know that they need to carry certain documents to present at the immigration checkpoints.
Approved Indian eVisa: Once you receive the approved Indian eVisa take a printout copy and keep a soft copy as well, you will be required to present at the immigration checkpoints on arrival in India.
Valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Card: Tanzanian citizens traveling from any yellow fever exposed countries, will need to have the latest vaccinated card.
Biometric data: On arriving in India, foreign travelers will have to show their approved eVisa and passport at the passport control gate, and after that your fingerprints and face photo will be taken for verification.
Valid Norway passport: Make sure to bring a valid passport with at least 6-months validity date before your return ticket, also the passport must have blank pages for visa stamps and most importantly you can bring only the passport with which you have applied for the Indian eVisa.
Passenger Arrival Card: This card is usually provided on flight on-board, fill the basic personal information carefully and declare if you have brought any restricted items or have brought any items that are against the customs rules and regulations.
Tips to Clear the Customs and Immigration Checkpoints at the Delhi Airport
Tanzanian citizens on arriving in Delhi Airport, exit from the flight, follow the sign indicating towards the immigration counter, here you will need to present your passport, approved Indian eVisa and the passenger arrival card. Also, keep other travel documents in handy like invitation letters based on your purpose of visit, accommodation details, return tickets, etc.
Steps required for Immigration:
- Follow the immigration signs, join that immigration line depending on your nationality and the Indian eVisa-type you have applied for.
- Show your approved Indian eVisa, passport and the passenger arrival card.
- The questions asked by the immigration officials should be answered correctly and honestly and should match with the details filled by you.
- After asking certain questions and checking your documents, your fingerprints and face photo will be taken for additional verification.
Steps required for Customs Clearance:
- After you have cleared the immigration check, follow the sign to collect your luggage.
- Head towards the customs for baggage clearance
- If you have any items to declare that you have mentioned in the declaration list you have to declare them. For example, goods that exceed the limit set by the duty-free, restricted food items, currency more than the set limit, etc.
- Those without any restricted items to declare, can join the green line, collect their luggage and all set to exit the airport.
- Those who have restricted items to declare join the red line, declare them and the customs officials will verify them. Failing to declare restricted items might lead to fines and penalties, etc.
